You are in São Paulo for a few days and you need your hair sorted — not an adventure. This page gives you the address, how long each service takes, how booking works, and how to get here from wherever you are staying.
We are Nelblack, a small studio in Tatuapé, on the east side of the city. One client at a time, by appointment only. English is spoken here — say so when you book and the consultation will be in English from the start.
Where we are
Rua Serra de Botucatu, 635 — Vila Gomes Cardim, Tatuapé, São Paulo/SP, 03317-000, Brazil. Tuesday to Saturday, 9am to 6pm. By appointment.
Getting here
By metro. The closest station is Carrão on Line 3–Red, about 900 metres away — a flat 12-minute walk along a commercial street. Tatuapé station is 1.4 km, roughly 18 minutes on foot, and is the interchange with the CPTM suburban rail and the bus terminal.
A word of warning about timing: between 5pm and 7pm Line 3 eastbound is packed and the Radial Leste expressway is gridlocked. If your appointment is at 5pm, leave twenty minutes earlier than any app tells you to.
By taxi or ride-hailing. Give the address as Rua Serra de Botucatu, 635 and check that the app picked Vila Gomes Cardim. The street is long and there is more than one similar-sounding spot on the east side — that is the one mistake drivers actually make.

Guarulhos is, of the two airports, much closer to us — useful to know if you are arriving and want to do something on your first day.

Two things do not fit into a single visit, and it is better to hear it now: a full scalp-therapy protocol (5 to 10 weekly sessions, following the follicular cycle) and going blonde from dark hair (several sessions, weeks apart). What you can do on one visit is the assessment, which comes with a written report you can take to whoever treats you at home.
Booking
Because it is one client at a time, there are no walk-ins. In practice:
- Cut, blow-dry, make-up: usually available with 2–3 days’ notice.
- Colour and highlights: ask a week ahead — it needs a long block.
- Scalp therapy: Tuesday is the treatment day, with a deliberately spaced
schedule.
- Saturday is the busiest day and the first to fill.
The time you book is the time you start — there is no queue. The flip side is that arriving twenty minutes late usually means rebooking, because there is no slack in the day to absorb it.
About payment
Brazilian cards, cash and Pix are accepted. International cards work in most cases but not all — if that is your only means of payment, mention it when you book so it is sorted before you arrive rather than at the till.
